If Bored...

If you are bored and have some time to kill i would suggest getting into a nice game of desktop tower defense. If you are feeling man enough go to fun and do the 10k game and try to beat my high score of 10,510. Good Luck and enjoy.

New In My Life

Just an update on what's new with in the life of beernuts. Living with the Man, the Myth, the Legend in C-Town now. Still working for lovely Lexmark inhaling toxic fumes that my printer's give off. My Xbox 360 got the red ring of death so i had to get a Nintendo Wii to kill the time. Yes i know Halo 3 is out and is the best game ever made but hey it will still be the best game ever made in 3-5 weeks when my dam xbox comes back to life. As for the lack of posts i have been a little busy i guess. Stay tuned...

Pirates...

My lack of new posts is solely because of my purcahse of a Xbox 360. I think there is not more explination there. My Pittsburgh Pirates started off hott this baseball season sweeping the Astros. Doesn't seem right they are 3-0 and the defending world champs are 0-3. I love it. First week of april nothing but snow, that sucks. I have had enough of winter god so let's go ahead and warm it up eh? An interesting story i saw on the news the other day i found amazing was, a woman was in the hospital in Texas and something went wrong and the doctor started yelling someone call 911. Are you kidding me? How would that make you feel when your at the place you usually go after you call 911. Good luck doctor trying to find a job. Anyways back to 360, stay warm.

Sad Day For The Heels'...

They day after losing a heartbreaker to the thugs of Georgetown, the Tarheels also lost the guy who was the Rameses. Jason Ray who was Rameses for 3 year's was scheduled to graduate in May with a major in business administration and a minor in religion. He was in New Jersey for the men's game between North Carolina and Southern California. Ray had been in critical condition at Hackensack University Medical Center since the accident Friday afternoon. He was hit from behind while walking on a highway shoulder near his Fort Lee hotel after going to a nearby convenience store. He was 21.

I do not care about the NCAA tourney or for the car of tommorow. After a horrible day the only thing left that is good is well beer...

Biodome...

So me and my girlfriend spent the weekend in Montreal and went to the biodome. We went to a classy hotel and managed to rack up a $150 bar tab and impress a canadian bartender. I think this was an impressive task because Canadians are suppose to be able to drink with the best of them. The bartender says to my gf (in broken english french accent) "oh my god aren't you going to be sick," after ordering her 15th drink. Good stuff. Here is a couple pictures of our adventure through the Biodome. Enjoy. GO TARHEEEEELS.

Top Stories That Amaze Me...

Here is something that i'm sure would make any parent proud. How would you feel when your child just won the national conest for having the stinkiest shoe's? A 13-year-old Tooele girl has the nation's stinkiest sneakers, and her mother couldn't be happier. "I'm supportive and I'm so proud, even though she stinks," Paula Tuck said today of her daughter Katharine, who won the National Odor Eaters Stinky Rotton Sneaker Competition Monday in Montpelier, Vt.
Katharine Tuck, who walked in the Great Salt Lake to foul up a pair of light purple Nikes with a navy swoosh, bested six other winners of regional competitions to attain the national title. To top it off
her brother won second place in the state competition, and is already working on a pair of shoes for next year. At least they aren't doing drugs, yet.

Another one is an autopsy is being performed on a women who was found nude and dead underneath an unconscious unfamiliar man in her apartment. When the woman failed to show up for work, a friend went to her apartment, got the manager to open the door and found her on the floor of the master bedroom, nude, with an unconscious man on top of her. I just don't even have a guess or an answer or even a smart ass comment for that. That is horrible.

Moving on, how would you like to be traveling on a plane and wake up and see a dead body being place in your row in first class? The body of a woman in her seventies, who died after the plane took off , was carried by cabin staff from economy to first class, where there was more space. Her body was propped up in a seat, using pillows. Probably something you don't see or hear of everyday. Not exactly sure what a procedure would be in that case. There are no law suites filed so good job to the flight crew for taking care of an awkward situation.

To top everything off how about the 4 year old that brings in some crack for show and tell. Not a little crack $10,000 worth of it. I am amazed in these days that the teacher actually reported it, and did not just take it and smoke it on lunch break or sell it. Also how does your kid take your huge stash of crack. When i grow up i can only hope to be as good of a parent as them. There was also another case of a 6 year old taking some crack from his mother's cup holder and bringing it into school. What a great world we live in. I'm Ron Burgundy stay classy San Diego.

Solar Powered...

In order for the Giants to save money and possibly get some positive attention they are going to go solar power. From what i hear the California utility Pacific Gas & Electric Co. will install a solar energy system at the San Francisco Giants' AT&T Park, believed to be the first solar power plant at a major league baseball park. The utility, a unit of San Francisco-based PG&E Corp., will place 590 solar panels at the park to produce 123 kilowatts of electricity, enough energy to light up a new scoreboard or power about 25 homes, PG&E said on Tuesday. The system will be ready in time for baseball's All-Star game on July 10 at AT&T Park. In order to pay balcobonds so much it has forced the Giants to apparently go solar powered.

Tiger is the man...

Tiger Woods is the most marketable athlete for North American audiences and will be for the next five years, according to a poll released here Monday. Woods, who arrives at Augusta National Golf Club in two weeks shooting for his 13th major title and fifth Masters crown, was a runaway winner in a poll of 65 sport business and media executives revealed on the Sports Business Daily's web site. In ranking active athletes, 69.2 percent of replies named Woods the top man with 55 percent predicting he will continue to hold that role in 2012. Woods' friend and fellow US sport icon, basketball legend Michael Jordan, was named the top retired athlete marketing draw by 73.8 percent of responses. Second in the active sports poll is Peyton Manning, then Lebron James, Derek Jeter, Dwayne Wade, Dale Jr, Tom Brady, Shaq. Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova was ninth and the only woman on the list with hockey's Sidney Corsby, basketball's Kobe Bryant and gridiron hero Brett Favre sharing 10th. Following Jordan on the list of retired pitchman heroes were baseball's Cal Ripken Jnr, basketball's Charles Barkley, golfer Jack Nicklaus seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong and boxing icon Muhammad Ali. If i only i could of been Tiger Woods. He is the king of sports marketing while playing a sport many people play to relax and drink beer. God bless you Tiger.

Congrats To Section X...

Congratulation's to all of the team's representing section X in there great state runs. Chategay fell short to Two time champ Finney, and OFA fell short to a very good city school. It was awesome to be able to watch them on cable last night and not have to drive down to Glenn's Falls to have to see them play. Also congrats to a Malone girls team that bowed in the State final. A big congrats to the Hammond girls winning the state title today. For the time being it is good to have little section X on the map.

Blaaaaaaaaaaah...

Not sure how i am still alive after overindulging last night but St. Patty's Day was all it was cracked up to be again. If it wasn't for the race on today and a ton of NCAA basketball i would probably be passed out still. I still have a good bracket going although Wisconsin did hurt it a little bit, but i have decided to give up on caring about my bracket and just root for my Tarheels now that it is getting to the crunch time. They were impressive apparently last night even though i watched the game i do not remember much about it. Blah blah blah I'm going back to the couch.

Happy St Patty's Day...

Get drunk be safe and GO TARHEEL's. Also if you see and little person dressed as a leprechaun please take several pictures and send them to me so i can post it, because that is classic.

Tough to be a 6 Seed...

Poor Duke lost to VCU then Notre Dame came back with another 6 seed biting the dust. Notre Dame lost to Winthrop in which many people felt it would happened. If Notre Dame could of played tomorrow and had the luck of the Irish then it would of been a different result i bet. My bracket is still doing well although i will not win the million dollars now thanks to Marquette. Go UNC. And Happy St. Patty's Day. I will have a green beer for every duke and Notre Dame player that wishes they were still in the big dance. Also the bay street boys are south bound best of luck to them getting there. Peace.

Stonecold is better then the Rock...

Ok i am sorry for the recent outburst from my bay street boy's. Apparently it is absurd that i was told The Rock is back but i failed to mention anything about Stone Cold. Here is what my bay street reporter had to say... "Dude F the rock if you wanna talk about someone coming back you GOTTA talk about Stone Cold Steve Austin or ill open a can of whoop ass on your ass..." I will have to be honest i do not know what is going on in the wrestling world right now for a couple of reason's. 1) I am above the age of 12 and do not watch it anymore. 2) It is March Madness. 3) My girlfriend would probably dump me if i was into wrestling.4) I do not live on Bay street. So just to appease an angry fan, i do think Stone cold Steve Austin is the bomb diggity. I do not know if i would like or dislike a can of whoop ass on my ass opened up. Either way i am a little scared of this angry fan. So to make it up to you i will post pic's of your idol in hope that you will not open this can on me, and also that it will make you happy and unangry that i talked about The Rock coming back. If Stone cold is coming back please feel free to let me know and i will Google it and make a sweet write up for you. By the way "angry fan" how did Duke do??? Go Tarheels. Peace in the middle east and don't get arrested in Florida.

The Rock Is Back??

According to my bay street correspondent The Rock is now back in action as a wrestler. Is it because he is low on money? Does he have plan's for a new movie to come out and wants the publicity? Or is my correspondent drunk? Hopefully for all you wrestling fan's this will make your life a little more interesting. Seeing how you are watching wrestling i think any excitement in your life could help, and it probalby wouldn't take much to excite you. Good fight good night.

Philbin Bypass Surgery...

Regis Philbin is to undergo triple bypass surgery, and i know you are all excited and shocked and scared for him as probalby as much as i am, but since i had to hear about this allday at work I am hoping you are going to read this and be tortured and waste some of your life like i had to. Philbin said he was hoping to have angioplasty because "you know, you get in — bang, bang, bang — they blow it open and you leave the next day." But, he said, "there's some plaque in some arteries and I've got to get it cleaned out."
His co-host,

Kelly Ripa
SEARCH

said she planned to give Philbin some special attention.
"My primary job will be, like it or not, get your pills ready — your sponge-bath nurse," she said.
Philbin quipped: "Why don't you give me a quick dip before I go?" Ya interesting i know. Best of luck to you Regis because if something else happends to you i will hear about it for another day and trust me i don't care. A story came out today that the percent of men harrased at work has increased to 15.4 percent from last year. So all you boys on bay street better read up on this article to help protect yourself from being sexually harrases or even sexually harassing your other male co-worker's. Click here for the story

Big Clarkson intermural game tonight at 8 o clock in the field house, it is standing room only now for the anticapted big game tonight. If you want to get some good tickets i have some for sell just let me know. Peace.

No Cuse???

The cuse didn't make the tourney? What the hell is wrong with the NCAA commitee? Do you not see the Championship trophy being raised over here? Why are they the first big east team to have 20+ wins and 10+ confrence win's and not get in? Villanova? You all need to lay off the crack and figure out a better way to do this tourney. Stanford in at 18-12 your retarded. Cuse deserved to be in and so what if they would of had 7 team's in and tied the ACC, even though the ACC deserved 9. Change the RPI and get team's in that deserve to be in. I mean i am sure the VCU, Texas A&M CC and all those other team's will do just great against good teams. I love watching a blow out in a HUGE tournament. Also way to stack the best team in college basketball's bracket (UNC). They are by far the best team, but according to you Flordia is. The hell with you and the hell with your tourney, i will show you and win a ton of money off your stupid seed's and make myself and every other person that thinks you suck very happy. Go to hell NCAA commitee i sure hope your making enough living for your family when some idiot will find you and do bad thing's to you because you suck. You don't just suck in basketball, but football is horrible also.

Wow...

I am not dead and to all my fan's or my fan i am sorry for letting this go. I am a busy man now. I don't really have anything important to say today because i am excited for my open bar party today. Who wouldn't be huh? I will get back into the swing of things shortly. Lisbon had a HUGE win over Heuvelton last night. Go Lisbon.

Nasty...

Tiger woods is nasty, Federer is also nasty, but the woman who fended off a wild mountain lion that was attacking her husband is the shit. The couple was going for a hike in a California state park. The lion attacked him and then game wardens closed the park and killed a pair of mountain lions that were sent out to a lab for testing to see if it was the lion that attacked him. That man is lucky his wife was there and was able to beat and scare it away without also getting attacked. Pretty sure most people would of ran or called for help. Always carry a pen in case you are attacked.

Special promises say the man the myth the legend is going to dress as Urlacher for the big game. Also Dart league every Wednesday possibly Thursday. Details will be posted. Other than that i am going to just leave a weak post and also warn you of my possibly not making many posts because i don't know if I'll have a lot of time. Bye for now.

Beckham and the MLS...

David Beckham signed a 5 year $250 million dollar contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy. Finally USA is trying to make soccer competitive like the rest of the world. Getting one of the famous players in the world to come over is a pretty big deal, and good step in the right direction to get Americans to enjoy soccer. Will it work? Time will tell. Hopefully other big names will follow Beckham. For the amount of money teams are going to pay for these high profile, elite player's why wouldn't more come. Duke loses again to Georgia Tech, which makes it two losses to non ranked opponents. North Carolina #1 in the nation oh ya. Hopefully they don't lose because if they do i will never hear the end of it. Bye for now.

Sunday, January 07, 2007

WOW...

Yesterday the word of the day was WOW. A lot of games from football, to college basketball. UCLA ex #1, Duke, Arizona, Alabama, all top 10 teams lost. Duke lost at home in an OT thriller to Virginia Tech. Paulus sucks and got jumped over. Tarheels are now Number One in the nation hell ya. Cowboys blew it and not just the Romo snap. I mean yes that hurt but so did Glenn fumbling the ball causing an almost TD but a safety. Did i mention Tarheels are number one in the nation. The Colts dominated the Chiefs but it wasn't the Offense dominating, it was the Colts D. They held Johnson to just 32 yards. I don't know if it was poor blocking up front, Johnson's stupid ass haircut, or just that he is a chump, ok or the Colts D. What else was shocking on a far more serious note is the USC kicker was found dead and nobody is talking about it. People are more concerned about Romo's butter fingers than the life of a D1 kicker. I'm out Go Giants and J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS. Peace.

What is Wrong With People....

So i took a trip to Watertown yesterday with the man the myth the legend Ian-Mac, and realized somethings. What is wrong with people today. I saw some of the most disgusting places known to man. How can you live in such a disgusting place? How can you just have a bunch of old cars sitting in your yard that are being used for storage. Is every person with not a lot of money a mechanic? I don't know if it's drugs, or lack of a brain, or even being inbred. I could go on all day but I'll leave you with a thought, collecting junk cars and living in a gross house, sometimes you win but most of the time your a LOSER. (Not funny but found this pic of a guy getting ran over by a bull) PEACE.

Good Stuff...

It's one of the best times of the year for sports fans well unless your teams are done. Even if your teams are done it's still fun to watch. We have college hoops, NFL playoffs, bowl games with the big one coming up Monday. NHL, NBA, life is good right now for sports fan. Unless of course your a Tyson fan who is going to be in jail for a little bit. If your a Duke lacrosse fan your boys are allowed back and can play on the team. If your a Notre Dame fan i'm sorry. Denver police think they found the SUV linked to the murder of 24 year old Darrent Williams. I hope they find that man and lock him up and make him someones boy toy in the pen. Dolphins coach leaves which isn't a bad idea. Chad Pennington wins this year Comeback POY. Tar heels pounded Penn last night dropping 101 on Burke's two lefty three bombs in the closing seconds. The place was going nuts, the Heels are going nuts, are they better than the 05 team is now the question. Another impressive thing that happened last night was Virginia played Gonzaga and put up 60 first half points. Gonzaga turns around and puts up 61 in the second half and lost 108-87. If Gonzaga didn't put up 28 in the first half they could of been in that game and ended there losing streak. Oh ya and Bob Knight passed Dean Smith's record even though he has more then 100 more loses and a lower winning percentage. Smith's is .776 and Knights is .713 as of now. Ok i'm out PEACE.
