SLU Game

Saturday night I attended my first SLU game even though I live next to the SLU campus. The game was a pretty entertaining game and I now find myself more into hockey. I am not willing to call myself a SLU fan and will not be seen wearing any SLU gear unless some is given to me and even then I probably won't. I had heard from my cousin the Clarkson fan that Cornell (the team that played SLU that night) had 2 brothers of NHL star Rick Nash. We were able to find a R. Nash on the team but couldn't find another one. The R.Nash though scored 2 goals and is very good. I may be a jerk for finding this to be the highlight of the game but I mean it was the parts of the game that stuck out the most. 1) When you walk in they give you these plastic hand noise makers. They were ok at first kind of fun until in walked about 15 8 year olds with them and each holding a big cookie. They were fired up and those noise makers soon got broken, not sure how. 2) A guy from SLU got hammered into the boards and litterally got knocked out. It wasn't funny in anyway shape or form. It was something that stuck out as a momeny i'll remember in the game. I mean 6 goals were scored but this dude getting knocked out sticks to my mind. 3) With the game almost over a SLU player flipped the puck out and it came up in the stands and smucked a lady or a kid not sure which one right in the face. I couldn't even imagine. We sat behind the net where there was a protecting net and I was still scared that I might get hit. Every shot hammered into the net I still flinched while the row of 8 year old kid's screamed. All in all it was a good trip and I wouldn't mind going back and checking out another game. On a side note the cups you get from soda taste much better with a draft beer.

Busy Week For Sports Reporters

Alot of big names have found themselves in the sports news for good and bad reasons. Some of the good are Shaq and Marion swapping team's, Pat Knight getting the chance to take over Texas Tech with his Dad Bob Knight resigning. Dickie V back calling games after having throat surgery. Dale Jr. making his new team debut a week from Sunday at the Daytona 500. As much as Dr. Crackmeupmakemefeelohsogood would want me to put up some Jr. pics I refuse to. Instead for your sake Dr. Crackmeupmakemefeelohsogood here is a link for you to get your Dale Jr. fill over with before next Friday.( http://images.google.com/images?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&q=dale+jr&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi)Chris Webber made his return to the Warriors. The Giants won the Super Bowl, no seriously they beat the Patriots.

And some of the not so good. Clemens who apparently is rocking my hair dew, the shaved receding hairline look is still strongly denying his reports of using steriods buy some crazy guy McNamee claiming to have evidence that no person in there right mind would hang on to for years. I mean look at the guy he deffinetly looks like a geeky, Red Sox bandwagon fan. He was probably obssessed with Clemens kept this stuff for some weird candle light shrine to clemens and realizes it might be worth some kind of money? I don't know what goes on with crazy stupid people. For all we know this evidence will be worthless. He could of given him a flu shot saved the stuff got blood from something else rubbed some HGH or roids on that crap and boom Clemens is on roids. I mean maybe he is but looking or listening to this guy makes me hate him and believe Clemens. I am a Pirates fan so Clemens isn't on my favorite list of players. Although seeing Clemens and Pirates in the same sentence does make me feel good inside. Hell go to the ESPN article look at this guys pictures, the Miller Lite can is so old even if Clemens was juicing if it was before it was illegal who cares let it go as long as he isn't anymore. (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3236668)

Anyways on to other bad stuff in the news, well depending if your a gay Red Sox fan or a gay Yankee fan it can be good or bad but Schilling who I hate with a passion could be out until the All-Star break or the whole year. I say retire idiot and keep your mouth shut about buisness that doesn't have any affect on your life. Chad Johnson is also on the news again if you can believe that. He is down in Hawaii for the Pro-Bowl refusing to do interviews with reporters and apparently it's in their contract or whatever to do interviews during this time. So he will get a fine and more publicity. Bengals trade him before it bites you in the ass, send him over to the Steel city, just a recomendation from a North Country nobody. Radomski the clearly polish former Mets employee who is now a target to almost every MLB player, the guy who ratted everybody out and pretty much helped to write the whole Mitchell report is trying to get some leniencyat his federal sentencing today. Personally my Pirates are safe and the Mitchell report didn't really do much for me because it's all stories, so lock this clown up make him learn his lesson, or at least become someone's personal jail friend. Leave Bond's alone, just incase someone is still reading this I am going to leave you alone. Thanks for reading, tell your friends, peace out A town down.

Idiot Of The Day

Oh snap, Yo baby happy birfday. You's 11 now so you's is an adult. Let's go get crunk and pound some wobbly pops and puff puff pass some mad blunts girl.(Not an exact quote just my judgement on how the conversation might have went)

Here is the real story...

An Indiana woman was arrested Wednesday on charges she gave her 11-year-old daughter alcohol and marijuana as a birthday gift, according to reports.
Davita Fuller, 26, of Anderson, Ind., has been charged with one felonious count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after cops alleged the woman offered beer and pot to her daughter and three of her friends during a birthday party on Feb. 1, according to reports by FOX59.com and TheIndyChannel.com.
Fuller's daughter accepted the invitation, according to eyewitnesses.
"They saw her tip the alcohol beverage up and they saw her inhale what they described as a blunt," Det. Joel Sandefur of the Anderson Police Department told FOX59.com.
Fuller told police that she was smoking pot and drinking beer with her adult friends at the party, but denied giving them to her daughter, police said.
"This is something we're not going to tolerate," Sandefur said. (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,329822,00.html)
I wish there was some kind of device that you could obtain the thought process of some of these people. Almost like tivo of the brain. Congrats on being named Idiot of the Day.

Rob and Big World Record Holders

I usually watch Rob and Big on MTV and go to sleep. After watching this AMAZING performance I just had to get on and write about it. Rob Dyrdek broke 21 records in a day and Christopher "Big Black" Boykins broke two. I was trying to get to the Guinness World Records website to check it out but so many people are trying to check it out right now i think there server is going to crash. I am just amazed. Big Black's records are easier to list than Rob's so i will start with his.

Most bananas peeled and eaten in a minute: 3. Most powdered donughts eaten in 3 minutes: 5. I am deffinetly going to try to beat these among probaby every single person that is trying to get on this site and watched the show. Guinness you must of loved the publicity.

I am probably not going to be able to list all of Rob's records because the site is so overwhelmed it's amazing. I have been writing for over 5 minutes and the site is still trying to load. That is great. Here is the link just check it out yourself. http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/records/sports_and_games/action_sports/most_consecutive_skateboard_frontside_ollies_(halfpipe).aspx (well at least i think it is the link i give up trying to look)

Rob and Big You are my hero.

Pirates and Sanchez Working On New Deal

"Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Freddy Sanchez has reached preliminary agreement on a contract that could be worth about $19 million over three seasons, a baseball source said Tuesday.

SanchezThe deal is for two guaranteed years and includes a third-year option that will vest if Sanchez reaches a designated threshold based on plate appearances. The contract is contingent on Sanchez passing a physical exam, and is expected to be announced Tuesday afternoon.
Sanchez, 30, is a .310 hitter in parts of six major league seasons with Boston and Pittsburgh. He won the National League batting title with a .344 average in 2006, and hit .304 in 147 games for the Pirates last season.
By signing the new deal, Sanchez avoids a salary arbitration hearing scheduled for next week. Sanchez had been looking for $4.9 million in arbitration, while the Pirates had countered with an offer of $4.1 million. "(http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3231288)

Are the newly hired Pirates staff already proving to be smarter than the last group of idiots. Keeping their talented players instead of trading them off to team's for young prospects. Awesome. Glad to have a solid part of the double play league leading infield back for a couple of years.

Sports Update All In One

Wow what a crazy last couple of weeks in the sports world. Between the Super Bowl hype/predictions/lines/Brady in a walking cast/NBA/MLB/NFL/NHL/Golf/Bowling/Curling, whatever it has been a fun couple of weeks I would love to relive.

First off that catch that Tyree made after Eli somehow escaped one jersey grab and one horse collar tackle was incredible, actually incredible doesn't give that play enough justice. I do not know how to even begin to explain it. If you missed the Super Bowl for some reason weather you don't like football, don't care about either team, too drunk, had to work, whatever check this play out. This play made the Super Bowl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5BWzoyzVbc ( I did not record this I just found it on Youtub) Giants defense was AMAZING and the Patriots are the biggest well let me put this in a PG-13 description, they are horrible sports. No class LOSERS. To walk off the field with 1 second to go in the game is disgusting. I hope they make you look like idiots in your Spygate scandal. Anyways....

Kobe finally got some help and changed the whole West. Apparently crying enough will get you what you want. I mean good for Kobe and the Lakers. Chad Johnson is now doing the I will not play unless I am traded, maybe this will work out for him. Chad give Kobe a call and see what else you have to do to get what you want. Maybe you can go to the Patriots and help them go 18-1 next year.

Bobby Knight is calling it quits. Is he done for good? Why did he retire? 902 win's does that make him the best coach of all time? My vote, No. 73% of Americas vote according to ESPN, no, the state of Indiana oddly enough voted Yes. He is a great coach but best ever, debatable at best.

Sad Situation

I was checking out the news today and read a story about a 60 year old man participating in the Richard Petty Driving Experience in Daytona. A friend of mine we will call him Dr. Crackmeupmakemefeelohsogood won a trip to do this in any location he wanted to. He was unable to find the time to go and do this but promised us that someday he will do it. Well I want him to understand that this is dangerous and not go carts were talking about here. So Dr. Crackmeupmakemefeelohsogood if your going to participate in this make sure you don't pick Daytona because something bad could possibly happened and we need you, especially if i become unemployed and you move south and i need somewhere to live and someone to live off. Anyways I am not trying to make fun in anyway the person that passed away that is horrible. I am just trying to let Dr. Crackmeupmakemefeelohsogood become aware of the realization of the dangers.
