Super Bowl XLVI features the New York Giants vs the New England Patriots in Lucas Oil Stadium Indianpolis, Indiana. Lucas Oil Stadium is a dome so weather will not be a factor. New England is a 3 point favorite and the over under is at 55.
Super Bowl XLVI is a rematch of Super Bowl XLII where Eli brought his team down the field late in the fourth to score a TD and beat the unbeaten and heavily favored New England Patriots 17-14. Even though the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots earlier in the year 24-20 they are still coming in as the under dog. The Giants scored late in the fourth quarter again earlier in the year to beat the Patriots. For New England I think third time is a charm. Corny I know but I really feel it's time for Brady to win his 4th Super Bowl. Plus if Brady publicly promised owner Robert Kraft that he would play better, I have a feeling he will be lights out. I think that they will use all of the negative things that have happened to them in the past to over come a gritty Giants team.
The New York Giants used some costly turnovers by the 49ers and an uncharacteristic bad game by the Green Bay Packers to advance to the Super Bowl. The Patriots advanced on some sub par Tom Brady play and a very well timed missed kick by Billy Cundiff to advance. If you look at how each team advanced I would expect Tom Brady and the Patriots to not faultier, and Tom Brady to have a great game. I don't think Eli has another miracle drive in him, and I don't believe the Patriots will make mistakes to let the Giants have a chance to win. Everyone is expecting a high scoring, all offense game. I disagree. I think New England played it's best defensive game of the year last week verse the Ravens and it will carry over into the Super Bowl. The Giants defense has been playing well and should continue you to play well.
