RIP Gary Carter

As most of you already know Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter passed away at the age of 57 after a battle with brain cancer.

Carter spent most of his impressive MLB career in Montreal and New York. He was nickamed "the kid" for always showing signs of youthfulness even late in his career. He always had a smile and was one of the most liked players in MLB. He was an 11 time all star and part of 1 World Series championship. He had a career .262 batting average, 324 home runs, and 1,225 rbi's. He is the only player in MLB history to hit two home runs in an All Star game and two home runs in a World Series game.

Gary Carter you may be gone but your legacy will always live on. RIP
