Yahoo Fantasy Basketball Pick ups of the Week

Yesterday I made a quick post on my top 5 guys to pick up for the week. (http://beernutsworld.blogspot.com/2012/01/yahoo-fantasy-nba-5-hot-pick-ups-week.html) Most of those guys in just about every league should be available. What I wanted to do today for you is break down the top 5 hottest players for this week for each position. Hopefully this can give you an edge to make a trade or make a pick up to help you win your head to head match up this week and weeks to come.

That stats I am including are points, rebounds, assists for the point guard, shooting guard, and small forward positions. For the power forwards and centers it will be points, rebounds and blocks. I am just picking three of their categories to show you how they are playing hot.

Kyle Lowery- (87, 25, 29)
Ricky Rubio- (48, 25, 37)

Marcin Gortat-( 83, 62, 9)
Marc Gasol- (71, 45, 9)
Byron Mullens( 76, 34, 1)

So there you have it, my top 5 hot players of the week in each position. Hopefully this is enough to get you the win this week. In deep leagues most of these guys will not be FA but you might be able to pull off a nice trade with someone who is struggling on your team but is a big name. Not saying they will keep this up all year but might pay off. The beauty of fantasy sports is there is always a nobody who can become a somebody.
