Plus who wouldn't want to go down there drink way to much and wake up hungover start drinking again and watch the Syracuse Vs. Georgetown basketball game in the dome. My goal this year is to not get kicked out of Chuck's, anyways...

I was checking around for some entertaining news or some Idiot Of The Day story but it seems like every damn news article is about the Barclay and Aubertine campaign crap. Just story after story link after link about these idiots. It's like they don't think i get enough of these meatheads from all there lame commercials that i have to see over and over and over and over. Thank god for Tivo.

I did find a tragic and kind of mind boggling story. I would call this Idiot Of The Day but seeing how someone passed away because of this I am not going to call it Idiot Of The Day. Make the call yourself if you want. Here we go...

"A Long Island woman was crushed to death Wednesday when her SUV skidded off the ice-coated deck of a parking garage and plunged about 40 feet into a muddy pit below.
The woman's husband somehow managed to jump out of the GMC Suburban before it slid off the upper level of the garage in New Hyde Park, L.I., which was partially under construction, authorities said.
"The car teetered on the edge for a moment and then flipped over. Right before it teetered, the husband was able to get out," said Nassau Police Detective Michael Bitsko.
The driver, Julie Simon, 46, apparently could not unbuckle her seat belt in time to escape.
The fatal accident occurred at 8:50 a.m. at the Granite Buildings, a sprawling office complex in North New Hyde Park. Simon and her husband, Charles, 47, both wallpaper hangers, were part of a crew of contractors working on a newly erected office building, police said.
The couple may have been trying to take a shortcut across an unfinished section of the parking garage's top deck, which should have been off-limits.
After driving through a chainlink fence's open gates, the 4,600-pound SUV, laden with wallpaper and scaffolding, slid across about 150 feet of ice before it crashed into a metal cable stretched across the edge of the garage. The SUV then fell to the ground, landing on its roof.
"There is no concrete barrier to stop cars from going over," said Sgt. Anthony Repalone, noting that the deck was coated in more than an inch of ice.
"It was like an ice skating rink," said Jayson Dayton, 23, a carpenter who raced to the scene after hearing the loud bang. Simon's husband ran to the wreckage and wailed, "No, no, this can't be!" according to Dayton.
Police and investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were examining how the SUV got access to the off-limits area.
"It's a terrible, terrible tragedy," said Andrew Miltenberg, a lawyer for the complex's owner, Granite II LLC, who declined to discuss the accident.
Friends and relatives visited Simon's grieving husband at the couple's home in Nesconset, L.I. "She was a wonderful person - the best," a neighbor said.

Wow. So they were on an unfinished part of the parking garage. I don't know i'm not even going to make a smart comment about it. I found another kind of sad story, especially if you are a pet owner and can relate to this story. This lady was taking her dog for a walk in Florida down a path that state's Aligator Warning or something of that nature. The dog not on a leash of course tries to protect it's owner from a huge Croc and jumps in after it, and well that was the rest of the little guy. Not only did the dog die but apparently now they are going to trap and kill the Croc. Like it was the Croc's fault. It's not like the Croc went after these people, a dog tried to attack it and ate the 19 pound dog. Cranky why kill this Croc(use best Croc Hunter Voice). Just another thing in life that does not make sense to me. Along the lines of Devean George of the Mavericks trying to block the whole blockbuster Kidd trade after he had complained earlier in the year that he wanted out. Some people should not be allowed to think for themselves. So enjoy your Valentines, Friday's holiday (My Birthday), your weekend, and President's Day if you get it off. If not take it off and show your appreciation for our country's President's.
